Bleakheart, Chamber Doom chanteurs from Denver, CO releases their sophomore album Silver Pulse through Seeing Red Records on May 24, 2024

Increasing past the mourning of their 2020 launch, Dream Griever, chamber doom provocateurs Bleakheart are again with Silver Pulse—a lush, melancholic suite that helps a lyrical journey into a private journey of mobile decay and the wrestle to know and break down powers past our management.

“After you have grappled with the sheer physicality that your physique should endure for the remainder of your life,” explains backing vocalist, lyricist, and synth participant Kiki GaNun about her expertise with dynamic incapacity, “Then comes the waves of feelings, and the fact that though this isn’t a totally inclusive and full id, it is going to completely shade each a part of you and your expertise.”

Sonically, Silver Pulse intertwines uncooked, wealthy, interweaving guitars with string quartets, pulsating bass, and celestial synths and pianos, creating an expansive and emotive soundscape. Produced by Pete de Boer of World Well-known Studios, the all-analog manufacturing amplifies Bleakheart’s expansive sound and somber songwriting, inviting listeners in for a heart-wrenching, intimate expertise.

Silver Pulse options an all-star solid of Doom veterans, together with JP Damron (Vermin Womb) and Mark Chronister on guitars, Kiki GaNun on vocals and synth, Kelly Schilling (Dreadnought) on vocals, keys, synth, and bass guitar, and Joshua Quinones (Oryx) on drums. The lyrics are written by Kiki GaNun and Kelly Schilling, with string quartet preparations by Kelly Schilling. The string quartet contains Amy Rosenberg and Ciarra Denman on violins, Anthony Limon on viola, and Ron Schilling III on cello. Brian d’Agosta of Gostworks Artwork creates the eerie sensuality of the album’s cowl artwork.
