Following their tried-and-true system of pummeling riffs and mid-paced Dying Steel that throbs to herd a wall of zombies, Rogga Johansson (Paganizer, ex-Bone Gnawer, Bloodbath) and Mike Hrubovcak (ex-Monstrosity, Azure Emote, ex-Vile) disintegrate and reconstruct their love for Steel and outdated horror movies, fortifying the 2 genres into an unwavering subculture hallmark with a stylistic departure from their debut.

The Mortuary Hauntings continues with an endearing worship of retro-death Steel and timeless devotion to cult horror flicks. The album was recorded by Home by the Cemetery, with mixing duties shared between Ronnie Björnström at EAP Productions and Håkan Stuvemark at Necrotic Audio Productions. Stuvemark additionally dealt with the mastering. The evocative cowl paintings by Colombian illustrator Felipe Mora (Essential Defiance, Consumption, Mortify) completely captures the album’s macabre essence.
