Margaret Glaspy Proclaims New EP, Shares Video for New Music “24/7”

Margaret Glaspy has introduced a brand new EP, The Solar Doesn’t Suppose, and has shared its first single, “24/7,” through a music video. The Solar Doesn’t Suppose EP is due out this Friday through ATO. Take a look at “24/7” beneath, adopted by the EP’s tracklist and canopy art work, in addition to her upcoming tour dates.
The Solar Doesn’t Suppose EP follows Glaspy’s 2023 album, Echo the Diamond.
“Whereas I used to be on tour for Echo the Diamond, I used to be scripting this EP,” Glaspy says in a press launch. “I used to be impressed by simply being round audiences and experiencing their charisma and their tales. It made me wish to convey extra music to them and launch information nearer to their inception.”
Of “24/7” Glaspy says: “This music represents my try to grasp how the threads of my childhood have woven the grownup costume that I put on. I began to see that my beliefs about love and life had not developed since I used to be a bit lady and it had a reasonably direct hyperlink to my very own sense of fear and anxiousness. I really like being an grownup—with it comes the chance to attach your personal dots.”
Echo the Diamond was co-produced together with her companion, guitarist/composer Julian Lage. Glaspy beforehand shared the album’s first single, “Act Pure,” which was featured on our Songs of the Week. “Reminiscences” was the album’s second single. Then the album’s “Get Again” was #1 on our Songs of the Week record.
