The Elora Singers will wrap up their 2023-24 season with a live performance titled Maiden, Mystics, Myths and Reminiscences on Could 5. The live performance will options each The Elora Singers and Elora Vocal Academy Contributors.

The Elora Singers Vocal Academy
From April 29 to Could 5, members of the Vocal Academy endure six days of intensive coaching with Mark Vuorinen, Inventive Director of The Elora Singers, Benjamin Butterfield, tenor, Anna Ronai, collaborative pianist and coach, together with members of The Elora Singers.
Vocal Academy contributors are: sopranos Anastasia Pogorelova and Alexandra Teske; mezzo sopranos Grace Ronan and Joanna Loepp Thiessen; tenors Joseph Adams and Morgan Ballantyne; basses Drew Aarssen and Benjamin Wallace.
- Soprano Anastasia Pogorelova holds a Grasp’s diploma in voice and opera from the Gnessin State Musical School in Russia, and previous to that, studied music on the G. Vishnevskaya School of Music, aka КМТИ №61.
- Soprano Alexandra Teske is a local of Rosemont, Ontario, who started learning music as a toddler. She earned a BMus (Hons) in piano, and BEd on the College of Western Ontario, and went on to obtain First Class Honours on her ARCT vocal performer’s examination.
- Mezzo-soprano Grace Ronan earned a Bachelor’s of Music in Voice Efficiency from Wilfrid Laurier College in 2023, and not too long ago carried out at her commencement recital.
